a. The land at Jubail is a sandy desert subject to frequent sandstorm and occasional heavy rainstorm. The
following statistics are provided from the available records:

50°C maximum in summer.
Humidity 100% maximum in winter and summer. 10% minimum (approximately) in winter and summer.
Annual Rainfall (erratic) Average of 100mm.
Wettest Months December through March.
Driest Months April through November.
Wind Velocity Maximum of 132 km/hour carrying sand and dust.
